About the Job:The Technical Project Manager will promote customer satisfaction by working within the TMH Technical Services Department to provide worldwide technical product assistance to all Toyota lift truck dealers and customers along with other Toyota companies as required. This work will include, but is not limited to supporting technicians with the resolution of complex technical issues, identifying opportunities for product improvements based on field data, monitoring initial product quality, and more. We're looking for someone with a combination of strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for quality and motivation to succeed.What You'll Be Doing:Facilitate and coordinate direct hands on technical support for assigned products including installation, commissioning, and field diagnostic visits to resolve complex technical issues.Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned products and works with various Toyota teams supporting product improvements, product development, and customer specific solutions.Oversee the final inspection or testing of products, to determine compliance with Toyota quality standards, product configuration and customer specifications.Development, publication, and approval of advanced diagnostic procedures for current Toyota forklift models including error codes and common field repairs.Continuously facilitate the improvement of the product via technical reports, quality alerts, audits, etc. with the respective manufacturing, engineering, and quality groups.Coordinate and lead monthly technical meetings with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Warranty teams to track resolution of technical and quality issues.Assist Sales, Marketing, Product, and Training Departments by providing detailed technical support and product information.Assist the Warranty Department on judgments or understanding of forklifts and related products.Perform field investigations for technical related issues or when requested by Legal.This position requires up to 50% travel (including international) that may arise with minimal notice dependent upon projects.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline preferred.
