**Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing**
at amika Brooklyn, NY **If this sounds like you, apply to join our team today!**We are seeking an enthusiastic **Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing** to join our growing team and assist with the execution of digital marketing campaigns with a focus on paid media. This position will report to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and will collaborate with the full digital marketing team.
Were looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, as the Assistant Manager will support paid media strategy, execution, and work closely with our media agency partners. You will become an expert in paid media channels including social, video, out-of-home, and display, and aid the team in tracking activity against key measurement metrics. You will work closely with the integrated marketing teams at amika, partnering closely with eCommerce for campaign development, creative strategy, and analytics.

**Core Responsibilities** * Support the digital marketing team in designing and executing digital media campaigns to deliver against brand objectives of awareness, brand engagement, and product sales across retail and brand DTC business (loveamika.com) in the US, Canada, and the UK
+ Assist the team in managing digital marketing & eComm process in the UK including creative strategy, pacing, optimizations, test & learns, sampling, and affiliates
* Create briefs that apply platform best practices and direct the creative team to capture ideal copy requirements, image sizes, logo positioning, and version numbers to ultimately run in ad campaigns and owned DTC efforts (text, homepage, organic social)
* Work directly with media agency partners to develop winning ad campaigns and track performance against objectives and key results (OKRs). Report campaign performance and be able to interpret data into actionable insights.
* Project management: establish yourself as an Asana expert. You will be the go-to person for building and implementing timelines across the marketing team - collaborate closely with eComm, brand marketing, social, PR, creative, and agency teams
+ You can maintain kindness while helping keep significant cross-functional projects on track
* Partner with the eComm team to track performance on loveamika.com, develop an understanding of historical media performance, and ensure on-site promos are fully supported through paid media
+ Maintain relationships with key media vendors (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Conde Nast & other publishing partners)
* Liaise with brand marketing contacts on new product launches and distill marketing materials for consumer-facing initiatives
* Help track media budgets and reconcile billing/invoicing with media suppliers
* Run digital programs for retailers like Sephora, managing campaigns on select digital advertising platforms
* Support in research of industry trends and data synthesis to develop macro reports
**Job Requirements**
* Bachelors Degree required
* 4+ years experience in marketing: paid media (agency) or eComm brand role preferred
* Beauty experience is a plus, not a must. Interest in beauty is a must!
* Display a high level of initiative and accountability, a self-starter
* Experience working on an integrated team managing cross-functional project timelines
* Strong verbal and written communication, excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest) as well as business programs such as Slack/Teams and Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Knowledge of Google Analytics & Asana a plus
* Permanent residents or citizens of the US only
**Work Model:** This role is primarily remote but must attend 3-4 mandatory trips per year to HQ in Brooklyn, NY (paid by company).
