Legal Assistant - Remote

We are currently seeking a dynamic Legal Assistant to join our team supporting Class Action, Commercial, and Personal Injury lawyers. This role involves providing comprehensive assistance to a team of three attorneys, either remotely or at one of our office locations in Kalamazoo, MI, Southfield, MI, or Florida. For candidates residing near our offices, we encourage in-office presence for two days a week, alternating every other week.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative and clerical support to three attorneys specializing in Class Action, Commercial, and Personal Injury law.
Assist in managing case files, including organizing documents, drafting correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and external parties involved in legal proceedings.
Conduct legal research and prepare documents, briefs, and presentations as needed.
Manage scheduling, including coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Perform other administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the legal team.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in litigation, preferably in Class Action, Commercial, or Personal Injury law.
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Previous experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred.
