Position Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear procedures, following established standards and regulations. He/She performs nuclear scans, prepares radiopharmaceuticals for administration, injects patients, maintains appropriate records, and performs other duties related to Nuclear Medicine, including Q.A./Q.C., BCLS required.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION
* Graduate of an AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
EXPERIENCE
* One year experience preferred, but will accept new graduate
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
* Registered and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMTB) or (ARRT-N) with a current Permit to Practice Nuclear Medicine with the State of Iowa.
* BCLS required
