Job Overview
Provides group recreation programs and individualized activities in coordination with Child Life and Therapeutic Recreation specialists for hospitalized children and adolescents. Oversees volunteers and central activity area to maintain a safe andinviting environment. Coordinates special events and programming for patients as well as sorting of toy donations received by the hospital
The position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eliible. The pay range for this position is $21.01 - 31.52/hour. Compensation is determined based on relevent experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
* Performs a variety of activities/services related to the provision of effective therapeutic recreationand child life services
* Performs patient care related functions which do not require direct contact with the patients but which affect the outcome of therapeutic recreation services
* Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the Therapeutic Recreation/Child Life Department

Qualifications
Required:
* CPR Certification
* COVID-19 vaccination and booster
Preferred:
* Bachelor or Associates degree in related field
* Knowledge of basic child development
* 1+ years experience in a group setting
