Position Overview
In this newly created position, AMR is seeking an experienced and resourceful Director of Training & Development to join our team. You will report to the VP- Operations Management, be responsible for developing and delivering training programs and solutions that will drive the productivity and efficiency of the enterprise. You should have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to think strategically. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills we want you to me a needle mover. You should have meaningful knowledge of adult learning principles and experience developing and delivering training programs this is a hands-on role where your ability to excel will shine and you will make a real difference.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and solutions ensuring alignment with company goals, objectives, and strategy, including:
o Ethics and Regulatory Training
o Role Specific Training
o Culture Training
o Onboarding Training
o Sponsor/Protocol Specific Training
o Leadership and Management training
o Ad-hoc Training
Build solutions that strengthen AMRs capabilities in core areas such as, Leadership Development, Management/Supervisory Development, Employee Development, Clinical Development & Delivery, and Diversity & Inclusion
Research and evaluate industry trends and innovative solutions to ensure the organizations training meets current standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensure all training programs comply with OSHA, IATA, DOT, ICH and FDA requirements and are adapted to changes in regulations.
o When applicable, address global regulatory compliance considerations, ensuring that training programs consider international regulations.
o Oversee the tracking and reporting of training completion to maintain compliance records.
Design and conduct train-the-trainer sessions to ensure the effective delivery of training.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training materials that align with organizational goals, objectives, and strategy.
Track and analyze training metrics for effectiveness and ROI. Monitor and evaluate the progress of each training program.
Identify and recommend appropriate technology solutions for training initiatives such as e-learning platforms, simulations, or other innovative methods that align with company strategy and goals.
Guide change management, ensuring the progression of strategies and plans.
Partner and consult with senior business leaders and HR Partners to implement learning strategies that deliver talent outcomes.
Provide in person and virtual facilitation and delivery of learning programs and solutions.
Ensure career and individual development planning expectations are met and tools are used to support career progression.
Ensure execution of AMRs onboarding program to integrate people into AMR.
Collaborate with leadership to lead continuous improvement efforts; provide consultation support to leadership regarding team development/effectiveness initiatives.
Manage projects, vendors and budgets within responsibilities; provide vendor recommendations.

Leadership and delivery of business specific Learning and Development initiatives
Excellent relationship management skills
Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify learning needs and influence partners around solutions using qualitative and quantitative data.
Adult learning knowledge and related company practices to lead skill and behavior change in all segments of the workforce (e.g., leader, manager, employee)
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete those projects on time and within budget.
Up to 20% travel
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in a related field of business required.
5 years experience in talent management and learning/development positions including 4 years experience within a for-profit business environment.
3 years experience defining learning strategies and solutions that address talent gaps.
Knowledge of leadership and employee development strategies and contemporary practices and technologies
Program design and delivery experience in multiple topics and geographies.
Experience and related certifications in talent assessment tools (e.g., Insights, Hogan, 360 feedback)
Influence organizational outcomes without direct authority.
