All temporary positions may range in both required experiences and length of commitment. The Temporary Scenic Painter may assist in all aspects of finishing paint treatments. The pay rate for this non-exempt position is $24.60 per hour. * Basic knowledge of scenic painting.
* Ability to form teams with artists and co-workers with a variety of working styles.
* Ability to communicate effectively and work flexibly to respond to design changes and shifting priorities
* Demonstrates a consistent and reliable level of skill, ability and personal responsibility.
* Maintains expected levels of executing excellent technical and craft skills.
* Maintains cooperative work within the department and with related departments.
* Demonstrates creative problem solving skills.
* Ability to be scheduled based on the needs of the production. The paint shop is typically open during day time hours, but additional hours may be scheduled based on the needs of the production.
* Physical ability to lift 25 lbs desirable.
* Experience, ability, and commitment to working with individuals and teams that are mixed across lines of difference such as race, gender-identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, age, class and immigrant status.
