Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned professional in Ground Events and Below-the-Line Marketing for our Study Abroad division. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of organizing successful study abroad events.
The ideal candidate will not just execute but innovate, bringing concrete ROI from each event through their deep understanding and experience in the study abroad sector.
Key Responsibilities : Strategically plan, execute, and manage all ground events and below-the-line marketing activities for upGrad Abroad.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies and goals.Conduct market research to identify opportunities for impactful events and activations targeting prospective students.
Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns to maximize attendance and engagement at events.Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
Track and analyze event performance, providing detailed reports on ROI and recommendations for future improvements.Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Experience and Skills : 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years focused on study abroad events and below-the-line marketing.
Previous experience of working in or with top-tier study abroad firms is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver measurable results.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple events simultaneously to tight deadlines.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the study abroad market, student needs, and how to engage this audience effectively.Creativity and innovation in event planning and execution, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
Data-driven mindset, with experience in measuring and analyzing event performance to drive improvements.
