Job Description Assistant Executive Steward - ( 220000C6 ) **Description**

**Essential Functions:**
Select, train, schedule, supervise, and counsel all associates in Stewarding department.
Direct staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the back of the house areas which include; main kitchen, storage areas, dumpster, loading dock, associate cafeteria, and washing areas.
Maintain inventory, inspect and coordinate the distribution of all big four items: china, glassware, linens, and silver.
Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings to advise staff of forecasted expectations and other relevant meetings.
Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard resort cleaning products.
Assure that ample cleaning supplies and ware wash detergent are on hand. The costs cannot exceed monthly forecasts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
**Position Requirements:**
One year as a Stewarding Supervisor required.
Working knowledge of kitchens, equipment, food production, sanitation and safety.
Valid drivers license required.
Ability to obtain a ServSafe Certification.
Bi-lingual with Spanish and English preferred.
Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.
Must possess good organizational /time management skills.
Able to develop camaraderie with team members.
Ability to hold yourself, employees, and organizations accountable for their actions.
Ability to maintain composure and remain pleasant under high pressure situations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
**Reporting Relationship:** Director of Stewarding.
**Exemption Status:** Exempt
