Job DescriptionAs the Social Media Manager, you'll be a driving force behind our digital narrative, crafting vivid, compelling and tasteful experiences and fostering meaningful connections that resonate with our community bringing people, mission, culture and accomplishments to life. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication, you'll spearhead our social media strategy, elevating our brand presence and amplifying our mission across platforms.Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Flagler College's marketing objectives and brand identity. Create and Curate engaging content that showcases the vibrant campus life, transformative academics, and community spirit of Flagler College. Cultivate and nurture a dynamic online community, fostering dialogue, and engagement, among current students, families, alumni, faculty, staff, and prospective students. Monitor social media channels, promptly respond to inquiries and comments, and proactively address any issues or concerns with supervisor. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and communications, enrollment, academic affairs, institutional advancement, athletics, and student affairs, to align social media efforts with broader organizational goals. Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in social media marketing, leveraging new opportunities to enhance Flagler College's digital presence and impact. Analyze digital performance metrics and create a reporting schedule for senior leadership. Assist the Marketing and Communication Division with signature projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. Proven experience (1+ years) in social media management, preferably in higher education or a related industry. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software including Adobe Creative Suite. Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and a passion for creativity and innovation.
