We are currently seeking 5 dynamic individuals proficient in both English and Spanish to join our team as Bilingual Child Assessors/Educators. In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting a survey/research study focused. Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers andschools to arrange child assessment visits. Perform standardized one-on-one child assessments. Maintain a flexible schedule, working approximately 20-25 hours per week during daytime school hours. Ensure timely completion and submission of all assignments and assessment data as per specified deadlines. Adhere strictly to the school district's protocols to safeguard the privacy of children and families. Participate in weekly online meetings to provide updates on progress. Maintain effective communication with the data collection coordinator and other team members in a professional and timely manner. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in education, child development, psychology, or a related field is required; Master's Degree preferred. Proven experience in school-based environments, particularly with preschool and/or elementary school-age children. Familiarity with standardized assessment procedures is advantageous. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish. Strong attention to detail and proficient organization of computer-based files and records. Comfortable and proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Windows. Experience with databases is highly desirable. Capable of working independently and collaboratively under the guidance of project coordinators. Willingness and ability to drive up to 40 miles and/or 90 minutes regularly to reach assigned schools in study school districts. Consent to undergo background checks and fingerprinting procedures before commencing training. Additional Information: Paid, remote training will commence in early March 2024. Initial training phase will be conducted remotely and self-paced. In-person training and certification tentatively scheduled for the week of March 25th. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of training and passing certification test. Candidates must commit to the full duration of the study. Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing face masks, is mandatory while working. Travel time is compensated, and mileage to and from home and assigned sites is reimbursed.
