The objective of the Coordinator Inventory Control position is to provide inventory control development support and guidance to multiple departments within the organization. Responsibilities include coordinating the inventory control departments daily workflow activities, provide direction to cross functional team members, and execute and follow up on assigned projects. This position is responsible for providing inventory control related on the job training for the inventory control and operation teams. **Overview**
The Coordinator Inventory Control will work directly with facility management, operational employees, and inventory associates achieving desired inventory key performance indicators. Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of internal inventory controls and warehouse management system (WMi) application. Responsible for performing functions that contribute to the accurate resolution and reporting of inventory variances and physical inventories.
**Responsibilities**
Responsible for monitoring, researching, and resolving issues related to inventory transactions for all departments within the facility. Make financial inventory adjustment as needed. Works to maintain inventory integrity on all levels.
Coordinates the Supply Chain Distribution Facility Inventory Control program and polices. Provides daily direction and development of Inventory Specialists, Cycle Counters, and Operation Associates. Enforces all quality processes and work standards.
Responsible for executing inventory control reports using the appropriate inventory query from the WMS application and Access databases and to transfer data to a spreadsheet and shared network.
Preforms as a Facility Trainer and Super User to provide in depth on the job training for Inventory Control and Operation Associates related to the inventory flow in the distribution centers WMS system.
Works with Internal and External auditors to complete required cycle counting testing and validation.
Lead Auditor for the GPS program.
**Qualifications**
5+ years experience with Associate degree preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle a high volume of tasks under time constraints
Advanced knowledge working with Manhattans warehouse management system (WMS)
Working knowledge of GPS and Lean
Ability to work in a team environment and respond to requests/questions
Complies with Hanesbrands attendance policy; reliable, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
Regularly demonstrates Hanesbrands Vision and Values
Efficient in using the Warehouse Management System and Excel to analyze large amounts of transactions and data
Effective Oral and Written Communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to work independently and the capacity to work with different internal groups to achieve a common goal
Ability to recognize issues/problems and seek direction
Ability to adapt to changing procedures, polices, and work environment
Proficient with Microsoft office suite software
