Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough reviews of nursing home medication pass processes and provide constructive feedback. Perform audits including Medication Administration Record (MAR) audits, Medication Cart audits, and Medication Room audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with clients during new business start-up implementations when required. Conduct mock surveys to assess and improve compliance with industry standards. Act as a resource for performance improvement initiatives within the pharmacy. Develop and nurture relationships with professional organizations and regulatory agencies to stay abreast of pharmaceutical therapies and educational advancements. Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the team and achieve organizational goals. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Required: Licensed Nurse (LVN/LPN) or National Certified Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in LTC Pharmacy or Long-Term Care facility. Desired: Licensed Nurse (LVN/LPN) or National Certified Pharmacy Technician with 2+ years of experience in LTC Pharmacy. Work Experience: Required: Minimum 1-year experience practicing in an LTC nursing facility or pharmacy. Desired: Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred. Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of industry-related federal/state regulations is desirable. Licenses/Certifications: Active LPN Licensure in the state of employment or National Pharmacy Technician Licensure. Behavioral Competencies: Intermediate computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Additional Information: This is not a remote position and requires up to 75% travel.
