St. Joseph's Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school in Baton Rouge, LA. Our mission is to educate young women as responsible and unifying members of the world community. In the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph's Academy offers opportunities for faith development in the Catholic tradition, academic excellence and personal growth. The ideal candidate must have a bachelors degree and experience in communications, media or digital arts and technology and should enjoy working with high school students. Some night and weekend events will be included. While the desired start date is immediate, there is some flexibility should the ideal candidate be unavailable until August 2024.
POSITION SUMMARY The Media Coordinator works to provide leadership and be a resource for the implementation of the schools media program, classes and events in a manner that supports the mission, goals and objectives of the school. The Media Coordinator plays a pivotal role in SJAs communication strategies and creates content for areas of the schools communication program. The coordinator must possess excellent communication and organizational skills working with students, faculty, staff and the broader community. Previous experience/knowledge of live streaming preferred.
