We re Looking For:
We are seeking a Lead Front End Engineer with experience in frontend design and development. You will be part of the High Tech Locksmiths (HTL) (an OPENLANE Brand) Development team responsible for our Web Portal and SPA mobile optimized application. You will be involved in design, implementation, unit tests, mentoring and documentation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in popular front end frameworks, Lambdas, Node.js and API development. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years frontend experience.

You Will:
Understand the business objectives and systems/concepts used to achieve them.
Design and brainstorm to help complete a greenfield project.
Maintain feature enhancements and bugs in our legacy system.
Take ownership and lead on all Front End software: greenfield and legacy.
Deployment of SPA and lambdas to AWS
Relational Database management, mostly migrations.
Who You Will Work With:

HTL Engineering Manager - who you report to
HTL Product Owner
HTL and OPENLANE IT support
Must Have:
10+ years of front end development: expert with CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, DOM, HTML
Expert-level experience with one or more of the following frameworks: React/Vue.js/Angular/Svelte
Experienced with front end tools: such as Vite, Flowbite, Bootstrap, jQuery, Zod, Cypress, eslint, Pinia, etc.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
SOLID principles, Data Structures, Design Patterns
Strong Object-oriented experience: DI, Patterns, Inheritance, Interfaces
Basic understanding of Domain-driven Design concepts
Some backend experience: Node, Python, PHP, RDBMs.
Proven track record of visually aesthetic and functional front end applications.
Containers: mostly docker development environments
Nice to Have:
AWS: Lambdas, RDS, Secrets Manager, IAM
Serverless Framework
Knowledge of architectural patterns: event-driven design, CQRS, microservices

Salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
