Monroe Biomedical Research is preparing for significant expansion of its clinical research operations, including expanded infrastructure and new clinical trial site locations. We are looking for an ambitious Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team!
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in clinical research activities, on-site in Monroe, North Carolina. The CRC will interact directly with patients and MBR staff alike, will perform study procedures, and will collect, manage, and submit study data. The right incumbent for the role must therefore be meticulous, organized and diligent.
While MBR will provide support and training, Clinical Research Coordinators are expected to work independently and take full ownership/responsibility of their assigned clinical trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and maintaining source documentation/workflows based on study protocol requirements
Organizing study patient visits
Performing study procedures and collecting data from patients participating in a clinical trial
oProcedures may include: Blood draws, ECGs, breathing tests, vital signs, etc.
Reviewing and processing medical records
Processing and package labs
Corresponding with, scheduling, and mentoring patients
Submitting and managing study data for pharmaceutical sponsors
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent relevant experience required; bachelors degree preferred
Driven and hardworking attitude; ability to multitask and/or juggle multiple priorities with poise and professionalism
Demonstrated ability to be pleasant, friendly, tactful, and amicable while working with the public; experience working with patients is preferred
Healthcare background or professional experience as a nurse (LPN), clinical research coordinator, or medical assistant preferred
Ambition to achieve a lead coordinator position within 12 to 18 month time period

The estimated hiring range for this role is $45,000-65,000 and may include additional bonus potential. This hiring range is specific to the North Carolina market and could vary in other regions based upon local market conditions.Offers for employment will ultimately be determined after careful consideration of a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to: experience, skills, education and certifications.
