Job Description:
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities-Manage the International Business portfolio for Africa and LATAMNew products registrations and development in the assigned market.
Responsible for delivery of International Business Budget and profitability for the assigned region.Identifying and developing potential clients in the assigned market, generating business through exhibitions & business Visits.
Leading the selection of Markets, Products, formation of Business Strategies & man management.Creating strategic brand partnerships with distributors and other international companies that grew the business and brand awareness as well as the strategic partner’s business.
Managing Registration of Products overseas, Investments in Registrations overseas, deal with authorities of diverse countries to achieve registrations, as this is the leveraging aspect of this business.
Market Intelligence, data and New Market, Product Developments, Placements, perform 4 P’s (Product, price, Promotion, Placement).
Liaison & PR activities with overseas government Agencies & businesspeople.Responsible for international logistics and export incentives.
Maintaining Key Customer A / C s of clients in the export market through regular contact & interactionsForecasting Sales targets & monitoring price negotiations, & sales at all major customer accountsHandling the delivery schedules required;
complaints & rejections received or any other specific requirement from Key Customers.Technical & Professional Knowledge-Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to strategize and translate strategies in executable actions.
Deep analytical skills and right attention to detailsExcellent team playerInfluencing skills, ability to connect with various stakeholders.
Excellent presentation skillsStrong leadership skills with a proven ability to work through multiple priorities.Good business partner with customer orientationFunctional Competencies-Excellent Knowledge of the domestic and international market (Competitor offerings, Market potential, new product requirements)Excellent Product Knowledge - in terms of product offerings, features, benefitsExcellent Selling skills (understanding needs of the customer, making a sales pitch of the appropriate product offering and benefits, converting into a sale, providing post-sales support to the customer)Excellent knowledge of EXIM guidelines and regulationsExcellent knowledge of export market product specifications and guidelines (for example, packaging requirements, labelling requirements).
Education- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture (required)MBA / PGDM (preferred)Work Experience -12+ years of experience in managing and developing agrochemicals business in the international market especially in Africa and LATAM.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in heading the Exports team for the business.
