Position Summary: Be prepared to hit the ground running! Youll be working directly with our team of Real Estate Directors. Utilizing you experience handling commercial real estate dispositions, acquisitions, and financing, youll assist with daily needs including review and analysis of lois, purchase and sale agreements, lease abstracts, preparation of closing documents, coordination of due diligence and closing matters, managing closings and disbursements. You understand that working in the commercial real estate field is an entirely different world. You speak the language and know the process by heart. You are looking to utilize your 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience to help this successful team reach new levels of client satisfaction. Working under strict deadlines is a breeze as youre an organizational master with excellent administrative and legal skills. You work well in a team environment and can easily learn any new technology put before you. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist brokers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from LOIs to sale contracts through closing and post-closing. Assist with commercial real estate due diligence, including lease reviews. Work with our Transaction Coordinator to prepare closing checklists, critical dates timelines, review closing statements, and other customary closing documentation, etc. Skills & Competencies: Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff. Minimum of 3 years" experience in Commercial Real Estate. Bachelors Degree and Paralegal Certification preferred; equivalent experience considered. Proficiency using Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Proficient understanding of real estate investments and UW process. Experience in complex commercial real estate lease negotiations & restructuring. Some experience in due diligence review and analysis including title review, lease review, tenant review, Phase 1 & 2, surveys, property inspections.
