Purpose of the position : Flawless execution of billing and invoicing processes and associated sub-processes, focusing on the resolution of invoice disputesMaximize invoice accuracy and minimize days to invoiceMonitor and follow up and coordinate the resolution of unbilled salesResolve invoice disputes effectively and efficiently and reduce its occurrenceIn cooperation with interfaces, meet invoicing targets and lead invoice correctionsResponsibilitiesDaily monitors reports to ensure invoices are successfully generated and posted to accountingIdentifies billing blocks and errorsContinuously monitors the ERP billing process and billing jobs for programming errors, missing output and batch errors and works with business partners to identify permanent solutions to billing problems.
Ensure blocks and errors are resolved timely.Process sales adjustments and perform other billing activities, such as credit / debit memo, and credit / rebills or credit / debit note or service billingsReview requests to ensure documentation is complete and include necessary approvals
Responsibility for monitor aging unbilled and appropriate follow upReview IDOCs and follow up with responsible functionReview interface e-invoicing interfaces to ensure electronic transmitted invoices are sucesfully send to customers and governments as appropriateManage invoice dispute resolution : identify root causes, contact required parties to manage resolution, request and obtain endorsements for invoice adjustmentsMonitor and escalate (as required) open invoice disputesLead invoice dispute root cause analysis to facilitate corrective actions and reduce number of rebillsCalculate invoice accuracy and suggest action plans to enhance the resultsCalculate other billing KPIsAttach supporting documentation to invoices, as required.
Supporting documentation may include : delivery ticket, stamp or signatureReview and validate invoices for accuracy, as requiredSend original invoices to customers or suppress invoice output, as requiredAssist in development of root cause analysis to facilitate corrective actions and reduce number of rebillsProvide required information for regular and ad-hoc operational stewardship, performance reporting activities according to defined metricsEnsures appropriate actions are taken to ensure that at month-end the financial system accurately reflects sales that occurred during the monthManage billing blocks at document level, as requiredCancel and rebill invoices as requested to correct issues
