What are we looking for?
We are looking for organizers to work in the field (primarily remotely) as part of our national field team. Organizers build relationships with our members -- everyday people across the political spectrum -- and help them take action to improve their economic lives. That means meeting people wherever theyre at, organizing with people who have never organized, and talking with a lot of people who might disagree with you on a lot of things.
WorkMoney seeks an energetic individual who enjoys connecting virtually with new people from different walks of life. The organizer will work closely with the Deputy Field Director, along with team members across the organization Advocacy, Digital Engagement, Data Analytics, and the WorkMoney Resource Center teams to share insights from the field. Organizers are instrumental in developing and supporting members to share their stories and be a leader for the causes they care about. Organizers connect with members on daily calls and are responsible for executing on campaign goals. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

You don't need to be an organizer or have years of organizing experience to succeed in this role. Maybe its an election, or the pandemic, or your lived experience that stirs you to act. If you have no previous organizing experience, we can train you up.

This is a union position subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement with IBEW Local 89. The annual salary for this role is $72,809.67 and as part of our commitment to pay transparency and equity in our organization, the starting salary for this position is not negotiable.
