The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Program Monitoring Manager-RN.
DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven.
These services empower individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, healthy, and meaningful lives.
Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or a close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Conducts programmatic & contractual monitoring of Nurse Supported Group Homes. Including statewide compliance reviews to meet the requirements of A.
A.C. Title 6, Chapter 6, Articles 8 & 9. Provides technical assistance to non-medical staff regarding medical related issues that are identified through incident reports & / or on-site audits.
Conducts medical record reviews as relevant to compliance issues. Conducts new home reviews for Nurse Supported Group Homes.
Acts as the lead on coordinating all monitoring activities for the ICF / IDs which must comply with the Code of Federal Regulations.
This includes scheduling, writing comprehensive reports reflecting deficiencies, ensuring follow-up to verify correction of deficiencies, providing technical assistance, tracking, and trending of deficiencies for trends, and making recommendations to ICF / ID Administration to sustain on-going compliance.
Conducts contractual reviews of Facilities. Conducts reviews and / or provides direction regarding medications, medication administration procedures, and / or proper use if medical equipment in non-medical facilities as requested.
This includes reviewing agency policy and procedures regarding these areas.

The ideal candidate will have :
1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a vulnerable population. Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team & on the job or specialized training in the review & evaluation of documents & plans related to the care & supports of individuals with DD.
Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations related to ICF / ID is preferred.
Pre-Employment Requirements :
The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training.
An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) ).
