* Food Services Assistant - Maternity Leave Cover
* Part Time 26 hours fortnight
* 1:30pm - 20:30pm / Saturday and Sunday
* Fixed Term until October 2022
Reporting to the Food Services Supervisor and Food Services Manager, the Food Services Assistant role plays a key part in meeting the operational requirements of the department including meal preparation, meal delivery, menu management and patient engagement. Knowledge of food safety compliance, allergen management and dietary requirements is essential.

Support Services is responsible for the provision of non-clinical services that includes food services, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, central production kitchen, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.

* Proven experience in a Food Services role (healthcare)
**What you need:**
* Current Food Safety Certificate For Community Services and Health Industries
* Current Working with Children's Check
* A minimum of two years experience as a Food Services Assistant in a medium to large acute health setting or large Residential Aged Care Services organisation or equivalent public or private sector experience is required.
* Basic to moderate computer skills
* Knowledge of the computer based menu management system
* Knowledge of stock control
