Job Opportunity: Direct Mail Data Processor We are a dynamic commercial print and direct mail company with a national presence. Currently, we are seeking a skilled Direct Mail Data Processor to join our team. If you possess specific experience in Direct Mail and are familiar with BCC Mail Manager, we encourage you to apply! Position Overview: As a Direct Mail Data Processor, you will leverage your deep understanding of the mailing industry and exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple projects efficiently. It's essential to have a comprehensive grasp of current USPS specifications relevant to direct mail, proficiency in BCC Mail Manager, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel. Your role will involve preflighting data and ensuring quality control for all output. Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly inspect and troubleshoot client database/data files before processing. - Analyze data processing instructions and adhere to USPS mail piece design and preparation requirements. - Proficiently use BCC Mail Manager Software, including creating, preflighting, and uploading Mail.dat files to the USPS via DAT-Mail. - Complete data processing jobs accurately and within designated timelines. - Conduct Quality Control checks on all output, including Postal Reports, Mail.dat files, and final data files for variable data printing and inkjet mailings. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills in resolving unexpected delays or situations. - Manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously, adapting promptly to changing priorities as directed by management. - Engage in special projects and pursue continued education to enhance skills. Required Qualifications: - Experience in Direct Mail, including CASS, Presort, NCOA, USPS regulations, and DMM. - Proficiency in BCC Mail Manager (knowledge of TaskMaster module is advantageous). - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of Variable Digital Print (XMpie experience is a plus). - Familiarity with WindowBook software for managing/editing Mail.dat files.
