This role is onsite and requires you to be in the office Monday-Friday.
Position Overview
We are looking for an exceptionally skilled hands on QA Lead to join our IT Engineering team in the New Jersey Headquarter office. The QA Lead is responsible for managing the overall system test strategy and functions for all LG.com eCommerce and integration efforts. The key responsibilities also include implementing, enforcing and maintaining of QA standards and processes in a fast-paced environment. Creating, maintaining, executing scripts during system-level, regression and smoke testing in various environments.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead LG.com website and E-Commerce Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities working with cross-functional agile project team within the Digital Transformation group, responsible for release management
* Effectively execute tests, develop and report quality KPIs and metrics, and record results working with others to identify and resolve defects
* Define QA strategy and best practices for test automation regarding regression, release, etc. and work with teams to ensure their work aligns with best practices
* Track and manage key software quality performance indicators
* Create and maintain testing progress and quality reports
* Anticipate feature release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments
* Perform manual, exploratory and performance testing, leveraging an end-to-end system testing methodology
* Create end-to-end system validation processes and test cases for both on-prem and cloud-based systems
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills in understanding project goals, individual role operations, the delivery process, identify testing dependencies, highlight issues, and risks to project team
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 8 years of software quality assurance experience in E-Commerce
* Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience using industry standard software QA tools
* Strong knowledge in QA test tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Zephyr, SmartBear, Hexawise and/or other similar technologies
* Experience with eCommerce platforms and A/B Testing
* Preparedness to develop scalable and reusable automation test scripts and execute them in an Agile/Scrum-based development environment
* Good experience in API - Manual and Automation testing
* Comfort in setting up a CI/CD environment with test setup integration knowledge
* Practical experience using source code control systems
* The abilities to define and implement tool strategy, reusable end-to-end system test automation frameworks
* Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms (or similar) and SQL
* Excellent team communication and mentorship skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or similar disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience testing Brand Web/eCommerce sites (Web UI Interfaces, REST-API interface)
* Experience testing distributed or Cloud Architectures
* Experience with DBs (MariaDB desirable)
* Experience with Content Management Systems and eCommerce Systems (Magento desirable)
* Experience with a variety of test automation technologies, including but not limited to; Selenium, RestAssured, and JMeter
* Knowledge of foundation, principles and techniques of software development;
* Working experience on agile methodologies
* Experience in supporting production systems
