**Position Overview:**
The Area Sales Manager Remote position is a critical role reporting directly to the Regional Area Sales Manager. This role markets and promotes our policies to real estate agents/ brokers, title companies, escrow officers and other mortgage professional services in the real estate industry. These relationships involve working with realtors and their clients to help clients customize the right warranty coverage to meet their specific needs.
**Responsibilities:**
* Generate new customer leads and business relationships by cold calling/meeting potential clients in person to expand client base
* Create, develop, design and maintain marketing materials and literature
* Schedule presentation appointments and perform presentations at various locations several times weekly
* Facilitate presentations and sponsor events and industry required classes within the marketplace
* Actively participate in multiple Real Estate Association meetings
* Attend and participate in trade shows as an exhibitor
* Assists in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies
* Create sales plans and proposals for prospective clients
* Create new relationships within the real estate community and maintain existing relationships
* Participate and join industry associations and attend sponsored events
* Maintain CRM with contact information and establish follow up strategy for each
* Provide exceptional customer service by identifying the needs of the clients and pairing them with the best product we offer
* Perform market analysis and competitive review
* Enhance business relationships to increase visibility in market
* Be comfortable with the Nations HomeServe contract so that it can be explained to Realtors, Buyers, Sellers and Title Companies.
* Ensure our contracts are available to real estate salespeople monthly. Also, distribute advertising material.
* Set up office meetings weekly to introduce yourself and our company to agents.
* Write thank you notes to realtors for listings and closings and deliver to their offices (this is number ONE job responsibility).
* Attend weekly sales meetings at office/remote.
**Job Requirements:**
* Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks
* Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
* Ability to work independently
* Minimum of 5 years of business-to-business sales/marketing management experience; Real Estate related industry experience strongly preferred
* Extensive experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat; Adobe InDesign not required but a definite plus
* Savvy with computers/internet/email/text
* Moderate to High experience with FaceBook and Instagram
* SalesForce/CRM proficient
* Strong presentation skills in front of groups ranging from 5 to 150 people via zoom
* Skillful negotiation, aggressive follow-up and closing skills
* Identifies MSA opportunities. Signs them up as approved
* Submits sales activities to Regional Area Sales Manager weekly
* Desire to find and build new business relationships
* Strong customer service track record
* Motivated to excel and advance within the organization
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* You must be a self-starter and excel with minimal supervision
* Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing
* Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; This is not a typical 8:00 to 5:00 job
* Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned
* This position requires a non-compete/non-disclosure contract to be signed
**Minimum Physical Requirements:**
Must possess the ability to stand 10%, walk 10%, sit 80%
