Inviting applications for the role of Google Cloud Security Engineer

Responsible:

• 6 years of Security experience
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources.
• Practical experience in implementing security controls and compliance measures within GCP environments.
• Proficiency in managing network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems in a cloud context.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for security tasks automation.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools in GCP (e.g. Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
• Ongoing participation in relevant cybersecurity and cloud computing courses and workshops.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for GCP environments.
• Assist in the design and deployment of secure cloud architectures, focusing on minimizing risks.
• Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Work with development teams to integrate security into the DevOps process, promoting a culture of security awareness.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches, participating in remediation efforts and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate cloud security risks and solutions effectively.
