Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Manual Miller to join a family owned business in Jacksdale, Nottingham. No two days will the same, this company provide support in manufacturing a range of products to numerous industries, Nuclear, shipping and aerospace just to name a few. They operate 5 Milling machines, 1 Planer and 2 Radial drills and 2 CNC machines, this position would be a full time position on the Milling machines, working to engineering drawings and to the desired tolerances. Working with a close knit highly experienced team, we are looking for a proactive engineer with a can do attitude. Benefits of a Manual Miller Opening hours Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm Overtime is available daily at £18ph from 15:30 - 17:30 Quality & Production bonus paid monthly Annual Profit Bonus Our Millers are earning over £40,000 PA Including overtime and Bonus Duties of a Manual Miller. Setting, operating and programming manual milling machines & borers. Quality checking your own work Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Milling Drilling & Boring. Finishing off work, grinding, filing etc. Qualifications and attributes required to be a successful Manual Miller: Previous toolroom experience Able to read from engineering drawings Experience of working within a heavy engineering setting Willingness to learn Works well as part of a team.
