Regional Sales Manager – Safety Gloves
Our client is offering a basic salary range £40000 - £45000 (DOE) plus significant bonus potential c. £15000 (% of territory growth for both existing and new accounts).

Location: Home / Field based position Territory: South-East & South-West England
The Role
* Reporting into the UK Sales Director, the focus of the position is to develop existing relationships with safety distribution partners across the South-East and South-West region.
* You will seek to convince and energise key decision makers within the distributors making yourself the ‘go-to’ salesperson / supplier for their hand protection requirements.
* This is a consultative sales position which requires a deep understanding of end user needs and application environments and then finding new solutions to help distributors provide a ‘just in time’ service.
The Person
* Transferable safety gloves / hand protection knowledge is essential. This may have been gained either working for a manufacturer or previously for a distributor.
* Experience selling through distribution / trade accounts within the safety market is desirable, but we are also interested to speak with salespeople who operate within the builders and tool merchant sector (for example NMBS or perhaps Troy group members).
* The individual should be able to demonstrate a stable career that is still on an upward trajectory and have a minimum three-years field sales experience.
* The position requires an initiative-taker and methodical thinker who is resilient and can personally drive and deliver new business opportunities.
